Easily among the best syrahs I’ve ever tasted and at 15 drinking like bottled last week. Pure, elegant, freshly scorched loamy earth and compote, the bitter bits of creme caramel on a perfect frame of gnarly dark black fruit and graphite/woodsy tannins that lasted over a minute on the back end. Easily 15+ years to go.

Great example of California Syrah. Meaty pepper notes, dark lush fruit with long finish.

Aug 15th, 2015So far Amazing but to early as this wine will get more and more complex as it breathes.... So much complexity in both the nose and palate... Tar, Bacon Fat, Asparagus, Cocoa/chocolate, Black Pepper &. Graham Crackers are just the beginning !!!
