Easily among the best syrahs I’ve ever tasted and at 15 drinking like bottled last week. Pure, elegant, freshly scorched loamy earth and compote, the bitter bits of creme caramel on a perfect frame of gnarly dark black fruit and graphite/woodsy tannins that lasted over a minute on the back end. Easily 15+ years to go.

I’m usually a big fan of Alban but this was simply too much (as in concentrated) for me.
Still very good but at 15.9% alc. it resembles a drier styled Port.

@Jason Oliver - thank you for coming over and sharing your some wine but mainly thank you for hangin with me and my little band - can’t wait to you do the east coast trip with the special lady of yours

We opened this bad boy up and no decent and in the glass I thought it was shut down - but the first sip was delightful - this monster got better and better - it was like releasing an old genie from a bottle and then it was alive -
@S Lav - now we are talking wine my friend - so glad to be in Napa again

Great example of California Syrah. Meaty pepper notes, dark lush fruit with long finish.

So far Amazing but to early as this wine will get more and more complex as it breathes.... So much complexity in both the nose and palate... Tar, Bacon Fat, Asparagus, Cocoa/chocolate, Black Pepper &. Graham Crackers are just the beginning !!!
