Rich, medium to full body. Lovely gold color. Oak is present but not overwhelming—but I wouldn’t call this a summer sipper. A “winter white” if there ever was one.

The variety that got John Alban started the winery. The color was uniquely yellow lemon with a light green hue. Floral, mix of light citrus and tropical fruits, chrysanthemums, key lime fill the aromatic nose. Fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel, the palate was lush, voluminous, and waxy. Tiny herbaceous and bitter note toward the finish.
Enjoyed this immensely.
