Very solid Cotes du Rhone- complex and flavorful. Good fruit and nice earth tones. Drank well with lasagna and garlic bread. Maureen liked it too. Overall very nice.

This is the back-up bottle tonight, and unfortunately it's not much better. Weak nose, very little fruit, and fades fast. Not sure how Wine Spectator rated this so high! Maybe they had my prior bottle first and it skewed their thinking!
