I was sure there was more Mourvèdre in this as it reminds me a bit of drinking Bandol, lots of black pepper & tannin framing the rich fruit. Turns out to be 70 Grenache/20 Syrah/ 10 Mourvèdre. High quality CDR here.

Full bodied, fruity, and peppery with both baked and tart black cherry, blueberry, and plum. Solid tannins and enough acidity to handle most foods. Solid CdR.

Raspberry nose and a bit of spice box. Very fruity in the mouth: raspberry, plum, and blue berry. The Ramon comes through more as a latent acidity than a pucker so slightly imbalanced which should settle out with age. Turns out this is 10 yards outside the CNDP Aoc.
