Unfortunately I do not have much experience with St Vivant😉.My nose is assaulted by waves of red fruit, earth, roses and lots of spice. In the mouth juicy waves of red and black cherries are cut short by firm tannins.
Lots of hints, but no conclusions.

The 5th of 6 Grand Crus from Vosne Romanee in the 2016 vintage. Tasted blind. Darkish Ruby in colour. Lovely aromas of cherry, raspberry and that GC Vosne note of violets. A medium to full bodied delicious palate. Intoxicating - the epitome of Pinot Noir but tough to stand out in this company. Will outlive most of us.
