Bitter nose and matching in mouth. Stewed fruit with flat, bitter finish. Not great.

Trying to remember what a nice lunch tastes like at a good BYOW restaurant! Muted nose and austere palate at first, then open up nicely, fresh, fruit forward, simple and not very complex, but drinks easily and is pretty good with delicious Mushroom Risotto. Not the deepest vintage at this Domaine. 88-89

Delicious wine, lot’s of red fruit, medium bodied and very balanced with good acidity and approachable tannins. Drank side to side with the 2017 and we preferred the 2016 at this stage.

High fruit, floral, but light. Some sour, so it partnered will with some kalamata olives.
