I am wondering about the high ratings for this wine. It tastes like grape juice with alcohol. Fruit forward with no tannins. Or depth.

Decent Cabernet Franc. Nice color and nose. Somewhat soft and dissipate fast on your palate. Just ok.

Some are wondering about the high ratings on this wine, I wonder about the low. It’s not a California Cab Franc, so of course not going to have the huge tannins of that style. This is a typical expression of the Loire valley and a great value.

Very light-bodied and easy to drink. A young wine that stands to benefit from a few years of cellaring. Still, nice vegetal notes on the mid palate. Definitely getting what you pay for here. I agree with many of the other folks who have posted comments—very flat finish.

Light bodied. Fruit forward but missing the tannins and pepper that I would expect from a cab franc. Virtually no flavors on the finish. No complexity.
