Airlie Winery
Willamette Valley Müller-Thurgau
Sporting virtually no sweetness, this is a terrific version of Oregon's long dalliance with Müller-Thurgau. In fact, all of Airlie's white wines show finesse and rich grace notes! My first encounter with these wines; I guarantee it won't be the last....

1 person found it helpfulFeb 20th, 2016Sweet Muller Thurgau's are few and far between so it's always fun to try a new one. Slightly reminiscent of an off-dry Riesling, the nose is bright and shows notes of peach and stone. The palate is fruity and a touch sweet offset by an extremely dry finish with flavors of dry stone and limestone. Fun, different, interesting and delicious!
