One of my favorite total steals from Italy. Graphite, sour cherry, tomato leaf, and dried herbs sing of Tuscany - tasting beautifully alongside these pesto gnocchi as we gear up to watch the Women’s Long Programs tonight.

Deep red with purple and rose hues. Elder flower, rose and spice cake aroma. This wine has finesse in its tannin. Some animal/fish nuance that is appreciated and added to the lamb and goat cheese papperdelle con agnello. I can't lie, the pasta barely wowed more than the wine.
