Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, barnyard, blueberries, cherries, plums, vanilla, cloves, oak, spices, herbs, vegetables, bell pepper, eucalyptus and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs.
Fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, bell pepper, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices, coffee, pencil lead, earth, vegetables and black pepper.
Medium plus in finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This Israel Bordeaux blend is nice and simple. Well-balanced and drinking nicely by itself or with food. Reminds me of a simple Californian Red blend. The tangy ending makes it interesting.
I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.
A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petite Verdot. Aged for 12 months in Oak barrels.
14% alcohol by volume.

Superb wine. Redolent of the terroir. Tobacco, black olive, spice box. A wonderfully crafted Bordeaux blend that does not in any way taste like a Bordeaux. 40 percent Cab; 30 percent Merlot; 25 percent cab franc; 5 percent petit Verdot. No new barrels.
