Open yesterday, 2 glasses poured and then the bottle was stored with a cork pulled back in at room temperature.
The nose shows cherry, leather, a bit of tar. The palate shows a massive acid backbone, borderline too intense, some cherry notes all along, some tannins but not as tough as the ones from the Sangiovese from Romagna i had yesterday and a rather long finish with fruit. This is a very basic chianti classico, and I do have 4 more Sangiovese to try.

Good, boring chianti: a cherry, something between a leather and petrol, high acidity, soft tannins.
