Wowza - this was really impressive for about $20 w/balance, elegance, great density & complexity of flavors and some polish. Vacillated between juicy & moderately muscular tannins, a true Super Tuscan @ affordable price point showing no age whatsoever.

Raisin and dried plums on the nose. Dried fruits and leather, nice balanced on the tongue. Mild, but very present tannins. Very nice wine for the price.

Super musty on the nose. Soft subtle finish with hints of fruit. Smell is off-putting. Not sure I would buy again. Had 2013 in March of 2017. Had another bottle of 2013 in August of 2017 and loved it. Hints of oak and vanilla with a little spice. Big mouth feel and body but it has a very short finish.
