Il Grigio da San Felice Riserva Chianti Classico Sangiovese

Wait another year. Right out of the bottle, there's a smell of warm attic. After an hour, there's more fruit. Not yet balanced on the palate. After two days, there was a slight taste of lactic acid.

Great bottle of Chianti for the money and regardless of price. Beautiful fruit and silky structure.

If you have seen the movie "Hannibal" then you may recognize this famous label of Chianti. #brainsgobetterwithsangiovese

Good enough for Hannibal, good enough for me. Not my fave vintage but not bad at all, always a great buy at costco.

Fabulous 2009 vintage. Pairs well with sausage Bolognese. Spicy and full bodied.

Quite muted nose, but this wine really comes alive in the mouth. Still lots of fruit left with a long finish that still shows some tannins.

Quite subdued nose with red cherries and glue (Björnklister). More savoury in the mouth with good acidity and structure.

Very respectable Chianti Classico for the price. Medium tannin and good fruit throughout. Excellent with pasta.
