A wee bit of oxidation. Sweet pear, honey, biscuit, and faint caramel. Picking up some lambic-like barrel notes. Off-dry but enough acid to keep it all in balance. Tart apples and a long savory finish with some lingering tannins. Lovely.

Oct 24th, 2020The delicate nose is full of cut pear blossom, cut flower stem and a hint of forest floor. In the mouth, it’s luscious, offering beeswax, orange marmalade and peach jam, plus fresh acidity and a saltiness on the finish that balances everything. Lovely and complex.
