Sec Furmint

Nectarine and an almost brined citrus. Held up well against crab and cod.

2013. For an under $16-17 Furmint, while not shy on the fruit, impressive. Riesling-like nose and Vouvray-like (from a warm year) on palate. Holds up over a few days.

Furmint, yes! Like a saline broth with pickles, pine pitch and peach thrown in. I kid you not this really mixes it up with flavors.

Stone fruit and flowers. Lower acid, creamy round mouthfeel. A great summer sipper.

Interesting contrast with the Oremus I had last night. The Affinitás is more mineral driven with well focused peach notes. Medium acidity, nice on its own or with food. Quite lovely

Bursting of nectarine and praline notes with white flowers and flinty mineral aromas as well. On the palate medium weight, it has citrus notes yet it's definitely mineral driven with a nice white floral and sort of sweet almond finish.

A little sweet for me, very full and juicy. Still good and fun to try

Interesting... taste of spearmint chewing gum lingers on the tongue. 2012
