Lemons!! Lemon pith, touch of lemon oil. Like the bracing acidity and salinity

Zippy and grippy. Very tasty wine apple, lemon, artichoke, ends with saline.

Interesting comparison to Aeris cali Carricante. Mid yellow and clear. Nose though shy is dominated by stone and mineral notes. Lemon and almond on the palate which is really dominated by the stone and mineral. Smoky notes confirm the volcanic origin. Both versions of this wine deserve your consideration.

Lemon peel, saline, minerals and acid. The spice driven back end really did it with Sicilian style sea scallops.

Lemon, lime, Ruby grapefruit citrus mix, then the lively acidic finish rolls like a tsunami and cleans the palate. Not the best Carricante, but bright, lively and interesting.

Pineapple and salt - but a bit of a letdown. Maybe it’s in a weird development state

A project of Rhys Vineyards in Sicily. Very pale yellow. Floral nose with lemon and herbs. Waxy palate of apple, almond and mostly saline. Fresh and bright but overall impression is a bit simple. I like the wine but the PVR is questionable. 3*
