Given about 30 minutes of air. You could almost swear there was some Schist here. Reminds me of certain wines coming of the Cote de Brouilly, with a certain Chenas like influence too. Two bottles to go.

Fresh blackberries, blueberry compote, wet stones, violets, black & white peppercorns. Rounded acidity, minimal smooth velvet tannin presence, medium bodied, satin texture, fruity-peppery-slightly smoky finish. Mineral driven, aromatic, like a cross between a Brouilly and Macôn Gamay.

Effervescent, light bodied Gamay. Body of a Beaujolais and a palate of a Ripasso. Smooth, inviting and enjoyable! Give it 30 to breathe.
