At the end of the day, I'm beginning to enjoy a wine that has refreshing qualities to the pallet, and Riesling is a great solution. This is just a good QBA (Qualitätswein) to have around. The nose was more enticing than the pallet. Aromas of gravel dust, flinty smoke, lemon peel, & green apple skin. The pallet has a slight residual sugar that is balanced through out, making it fairly close to semi sweet, exhibiting notes of white pear, mineral, and a crisp finish. The acidity was slightly behind, and the wine could be concidered flabby. Good by itself, or with cheeses and apricot jam.
