Fruity. Lots of dark fruit, black pepper, spice. Lush tannins. Oak tones on the finish. It's all there.

Bold red and black fruits dominate, but there is also a sweet earth note that is really great here.

Dense, dark, brambly fruit, bitterchocolate, mocca and oriental spice; soft tannines and judicious use of oak make this a wonderful wine to drink now. Delicious!

Jun 4th, 2016Big, big Petite Syrah! Loads of dark fruit and tannins. Really opened up after an hour in a decanter. Paired perfectly with brined, cold-smoked then petite Syrah braised beef short ribs ala Michael Chiarello Bottega style over polenta. This was a fun wine find while tasting Odette Cabernet.
