Seriously delicious wine and at roughly $25 retail, a heck of a bargain. Black cherry, blackberry, cassis, dried herbs, forest floor and violet. Acidity well balanced with the fruit and medium tannin. This is just lovely and not overly heavy. If you find a lot of Cabernet Sauv’s overheated for summer this is your antidote. It’s wonderful.

Not aging like I had hoped. American oak is in there but not biting. Rich, dark fruit that is almost cloying but the acid saves the day.

It’s a bit green, but has expressive dark fruits and some earthy spice. The oak is a bit aggressive, but it retains a nice freshness.
