Top Notes For
Founded in 1998, Achaval-Ferrer is a team of friends who make great wines. Aged in new French oak for about 18 months deep Ruby with aromas of fresh black fruits, flowers and burnt earthy tones. On the palate sweet raspberry and dark berry fruits with tobacco herb spice, good balance and acidity. Fine tannins, lingering ending with earthy mineral character. Very nice! Tasting Sample!

Dec 14th, 2018My first from here. Not expecting this from a Malbec. Cool and lean with bright crisp fruit. Great with Asian style beef tartare.

May 31st, 2015Hello Mendoza!!! Big, big Malbec based blend. I used to love Vallé Escondido Mélosa Red blend, but this one takes the cake. Earthy, dark blueberry with a tinge of smoky impression. I love it! $102 - 92pts.
