It's Kerner so it's aromatic. But there is also a nice minerality to this wine. Aged 'sur lie' for six minths. A joy to drink. Note to self: Kerner is a crossing between Trollinger and Riesling. Crossed by researcher August Herold. So why is it called Kerner? It is named after 19th century German poet Justinus Kerner, who -apparently- wrote a lot about wine.

Seductive floral aromatics in a good contrast with firm acid & herb dusted bright citrus fruit on the palate. Ridiculously easy to drink.

Nice fruit with some mango. Light minerality with enough acid to make it interesting. Had with chicken which was a little over spiced for this wine. Outstanding. Would buy again.

Love this one! First tried this as a pairing with a chef's tasting only birthday and have been on the hunt for it since.
