After it had time to breathe it revealed stewed blueberry, dried black fruits and gravel. The oak is well integrated here with cocoa and spices present without the typical and often overbearing wood on the nose. Apparently 2013 was somewhat of a difficult vintage but the vintners did well here.

Moderate tannins accompany a bramble, spice, earth, and cedar pallet in this fine Spanish wine, which paired well with ravioli and salad.
