Significantly better than previous bottlings. Generous red fruit and a supple texture. Simple, quaffable, and a damn steal.

Let it open up. Smooth easy drinking not too fruit forward. Good with pizza.

South African wine. Wasn't entirely worthy of rating the first day, but it opened up a fair amount on the second day. This is value AND food wine...without either one of those, it's not ideal. Bitter strawberries and sweet tarts.

Inoffensive plonk of generic red fruit. It's a box wine in a bottle, but not unpleasant.

Getting that fynbos nose with lots of warmth and spice, but it's a little more subdued on the palate. Decent for the price. 2011 vintage.

I love Viognier in a red blend but often times in this price range, it just doesn't work. This is a weird, disjointed little wine.

Pretty crushable little Rhône-ish blend. Tasty & structured enough with no rough edges. Better than most Côtes-du-Rhône at the same price point, but that ain't saying much. Good party wine, hilarious back label copy.

Delicious wine and a great deal. 8.99 at WH. Broad and fruity. Should have gotten more. Be on the lookout next time.
