Winemaker's Blend California White Blend

Tried this a couple years back & it was clumsy and off-putting. Heat has retracted and bit more fruit with less intrusive oak.

38% Rousanne, 36% Verdelho, & 26% Viognier. Nose, palate, & finish is hot, tropical, & full fabricated oak influence. Much better wines for $15-$20.

Super fruity tropical nose. Not my thing

This was a really nice white. Accessible flavors of orange and a grassy floral nose were quite nice. Not outstanding, but solidly good.

Opened to use in cooking but ended up being quite tasty. One of us wasn't in the mood for wine. Hint: that person will never be me.

Pretty decent blend. Too hot to drink reds so just throw all the whites in a bottle, chill it, and we're happy.

This is a great, inexpensive white. Great for food or snacks. nicely acidic.

I'm really liking the balance between these grapes; bolder flavor with good acid, and versatile for many dishes.
It's a crowd pleaser that will connect well with lovers of the old-world and new-world.
