I tried this wine and really was expecting something nice from Spring Mountain, however the wine was tired and lacked luster. Getting past a deep Ruby color, the aromas lacked depth and the palate had black fruit flavor with wet earthy tones overpowering the fruit, lacking balance. Tannins ate firm and rustic and will not improve. Tried several bottles, all with the same result, even opened a bottle at the wine shop. Pass on this wine.

Tobacco and earth, blackberries. Drinking nice but definitely had at least 10 more years of cellar life!
