Pale medium ruby. Nose: red fruit: ripe sour cherry, redcurrant, black plum, faint vegetal/underripeness, pepper. Faint oak. Medium tannin, medium acid, fresh fruit on the palate plus chocolate, menthol, pepper, possibly some sweet spice. Finish was pretty short. Good but a bit imbalanced. Drink young.
