This 5 year old is still rich, but not complex. Good right out of the bottle and good by itself as a sipping wine by the porch.

Dec 3rd, 2018The most impressive of the bunch. Huge tannins and spice, more earthy than fruit driven although some fruit is there.

2 people found it helpfulNov 20th, 2016Called 19 Crimes b/c committing 1 of 19 in UK, you were sent to Australia. The Warden is a Shiraz-based red blend (can’t find the rest of the blend, even the US distributor didn’t know…maybe it’s a Crime!) Dark purple red with aromas of dark berry fruits & spicy notes. The palate shows black cherry & plum flavors, with cinnamon spice and vanilla notes. Big wine with big tannins that needs a few minutes to breathe, Decant a must! Medium finish ends with jammy sweet notes & spice on the finish. Tasting Sample
