Oct 4th, 2016This is what you look for in an Ontario red. It's not strong, but it has juicy flavour. Big bouquet on the nose of fresh berries, with ripples of ripe red fruit, some steel, and great acidity on the palate. Works really well with grilled chicken.

Medium pale purple wine with pronounced youthful aromas of Concord grape jelly and black raspberry. Medium plus acid, medium body and medium minus tannins. On the palate the fruit is tarter and almost sour. Some earth notes but overall not complex and only a medium finish. The wine tasted thin and uninteresting.
