This is light and like raspberry jelly. It's fun. Here're other reviews:
Winemaker's Notes: The 2012 Cote du Py has a juicy texture full of raspberry/strawberry compote, earthy undercurrents and a refreshing thread of acidity. Really quite moreish yet will also age well over the next few years. This is no insipid Beaujolais.
Critical Acclaim: Bright violet color. Highly perfumed red and dark berry aromas are complicated by notes of candied violet and white pepper. Juicy and precise on the palate, offering sappy black raspberry and boysenberry flavors that stretch out and gain depth with air. A smoky mineral quality adds definition to the long, incisive finish, which is framed by fine-grained, sneaky tannins.
#maison#cotedupy really enjoying the #2012#morgon! How can I learn about your other vintages and compare so that I can start to understand the sense of place and #terroir?
