One of the occupational hazards of this great wine hobby of ours is Fraudulent wines. Unfortunately, we happened upon one at our social distance wine gathering BBQ on my friends porch last night. It was the strong unanimous opinion of the group that this was not Rayas and not even a cleaver knock-off. There was none of that beautiful Rayas translucency in the color and there was even some hints of Syrah in this fake. Caveat Emptor my friends. — 4 years ago
