Really funky first note blew off to reveal a dark sugared blackberry reduction with a jammy core of licorice tinged cab fruit berry interplay. Really unctuous, but not unpleasant. Extracted, but with fine tannins after 10 years on its back. Vanilla notes, cinnamon, clove, and pepper jelly.
