Pours a sexy, delicate strawberry color, crystal clear and playful in the glass. Some volcanic, rocky notes on the nose and a strong herbal/floral structure on the palate point to carbonic maceration as the vinification method. My 500th wine!

I was very excited to try this Pinot from Herman Story. Clocking in at 15.2%, like any other of their wines, this is no shy flower.

Over the top in a magnificent way. Explosive nose and bursting with cherry and cola. Despite the high octane, there is balance and no acrid burn.
