My #3000 on Delectable...! 🥳

Liquid gold in the glass with wonderful cupreous hints shimmering through.
Really harmonious on nose and palate, showing complex and heartwarming notes of apricotpie, honey,, warm custard, cider, baked pineapple, and deep mysterious floral notes like honeysuckle and saffron.
Low acidity, soft and versatile.

Pauque Fossiles is indeed something special. The only issue that the unique taste is rather difficult to combine with good - does work well with cheeses however.

@Marc vanholst Maybe... I’d say this wine behaves like a mature white Rhône with low acidity, perhaps a Condrieu or St Joseph... So I’d pair this wine with lobster or fish in a creamy sauce... and maybe a little bit of truffle! 🤪
