Where’s Linus?
Red Wine

It’s funny- if this was a vin de soif from the Languedoc, no one would blink an eye. But it’s made in California, & unfiltered & lovely & simple for 14$ & thus a bigger deal. A Zin & petit syrah and? Blend. Very dark red, almost black red. Dry, no big ripeness or fruit. But this is where American wine needs to go, so it’s a big deal I suppose. Prefer the red to the Sauvignon Blanc. Read that Jenny brought this in when the pandemic had shut Euro imports down, so I honor it as a native vin de soif.
