Hilltop Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Hilltop lifts from the glass with a peppery freshness, mixing hints of sage with chalk dust and blackberries. It's soothingly round and supple with ripe red and black fruits underscored by saline minerals as grippy tannins mount toward the close. This finishes structured with medium length, leaving the palate refreshed while maintaining youthful poise. (Eric Guido, Vinous, July 2024)

Big bold Cabernet. Deep purple color. Nice fingers and mouth feel. Chalky, earthy, flavors of currant and spice. Great sipping wine.

Oct 30th, 2024excellent Cab with a great balance of fruit and grip. Great value at ~$30 they would easily compete with $50+ wines

Jul 1st, 2024Quite tannic and a little closed on opening which obscures the fruit so didn’t drink much the first night, but what a difference a day makes. Opened to great fruit & structure with good long finish

Mar 3rd, 2024Enjoyed this very much. Dark berry forward but not overly sweet. Will definitely buy again

Jan 7th, 2024Fruit forward. Pairs nicely with beef. Must be aerated. Reading other comments, it’s apparent that this one gets better with age. At $30, I can’t say it’s a value wine. Buy with intent to hold for at least 5 years.
