The label is misleading as the nose and the material on mouth tends towards the landmarks of a Cote-Rôtie, which also explains its price. We oscillate between generous fruits (red and black), spices, pepper, and floral touches. Juicy and deep, with a gourmet character with a hint of ageing that gives it a beautiful elegance. Superb!
L’étiquette est trompeuse tant le nez et la matière tend vers les repères d’une Cote-Rôtie, ce qui explique aussi son prix. On oscille entre fruits généreux (rouges et noires), épices, poivre, et touches florales. Juteux et dense, avec un caractère gourmand avec une pointe d’élevage qui lui donne une belle élégance. Superbe!

One of my favorites: behind the Cotes du Rhône label, dominated by Syrah, hides a Cote-Rôtie-style bomb with the expected markers: Black fruits, pepper, violet, freshness, spice.
