La Butte Touraine Gamay

Dense and brooding but is beset by common problems Gamay tends to have, it has too much flavor in relation to the basic structure of the variety, and there is too much of the outer acidity that brightens but too little of the inner acidity that energizes and resonates. An opposite type is the Chenin Blanc which has a softly-lit outer brilliance but often is exceptionally bright inside. Otherwise the wine is very pure and authentic.
