Medium dark ruby hue. Aromas of oak, plum, raspberry, strawberry, and vanilla. Medium body, medium tannins, medium-plus acidity. Bit of alcohol heat on the backend. Nevertheless, very approachable and soft for a Cabernet Sauvignon. Bourbon-barrel aging rounds out the tannins and brings its share of red fruit and vanilla to the palate.
