Quite a bit of acidity yet filled with perfumed flowers and sweet lemons on the palate. Quite tangy and mouth watering but not overwhelmingly so. Enjoyable and refreshing.

Jul 30th, 2022Young Palomino from Tenerife. I know these wines are meant to be aged, but I enjoyed this 2018 bottle. It did not have the oxidation noted by many reviewers, but instead was a tropical-flavored wine with notes of pineapple and other fruits, that after being open for at least 30 minutes had a finish of vanilla and cream. Quite complex and enjoyable, but more of a Summer wine than one appropriate for dinner. Great for picnics. I’ll need to try an aged bottle some day to understand this wine.
