Dry Creek Valley Petite Sirah

Blackberry, raspberry preserves, dark chocolate, cherry, cassis and oak. Full-bodied and velvety tannins.

HWT - not sure why this was rated so high but neither of us cared for it. Really odd flavor I can’t quite describe.

Smell: earth. Leather. Cinnamon. Very ripe black fruit. Bold. But smooth on the palate. Round and long finish. Like velvet. Slightly dry, a touch on the sweeter side. Plum. Blackberry. Oak. Chocolate. Molasses. Very nice wine. Wish it had a bit more acid to sharpen the finish, but Really enjoyed this. Will buy again.
