François Cazin (Le Petit Chambord)
Le Petit Chambord Vendanges Manuelles Cour-Cheverny AOC Romorantin
Nose has orange blossom, candle wax, under-ripe pear, lemon peel and green banana peel.
Palate has lemon wedge, under-ripe pineapple, wax/lanolin with mild sweetness; medium acidity and medium finish.
An acceptable bottle at this extremely youthful age. We bought several of these to hold after a delightful experience with the 2007 vintage last year... Now I just need to forget about them for at least the next 10-15Y, because they need a minimum of 10Y for evolution.

Good with sushi or lighter Thai dishes. Citrus forward, but herbal, bitter and a little boozy. (15% abv) Interesting texture. Others are saying waxy but I get oily. Not a “clean” wine, but certainly unique. New grape for me.
