Phenomenal energy and concentration from this wine we first enjoyed in the Giudicelli cellar in Patrimonio. Fruit is primarily dark and brooding, but there is also a high-toned floral quality to go along with the juicy acidity. A small touch of Brett and VA keeps things crunchy. Despite the intensity and 14% alcohol this is super refreshing and was another great homemade pizza pairing.

Another one of these. Drinking solo right now, so fewer posts & further between. A Corsican beauty here.

Lush rich fruit. Ripe cherry with notes of blue fruit as well. Savory aromatics with more cherry notes. This is pure pleasure in the glass. Moderate chalky tannins add texture. Corsica is a treasure.
