La Croix Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend

Great second wine from Ducru.

A blend of 58% Merlot, 39% Cab Sauv & 3% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of fresh red fruit with woodsy spice. On the palate flavors of red plum and cherry with some cacao and licorice notes. This wine shows oak and mineral tones with fine tight tannins and good balance. Long finish with fruit and spice ending. Needs a few years of bottle age. Reasonably price, good value.

Always good! A bit earthy. Mid ++ body, black currant and fruits 2017 @1900, Fred, 231208

Really nice. Deep color. Not overpowering.
