Founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in the ancient village of Ampuis, home of the wines of the Côte-Rôtie. One-third of this bottling sees new oak, while the rest goes into stainless steel. Pale lemon color with stone fruits, floral and sweet spice aromas. On the palate pronounced flavors of ripe apple, apricot, peach, honeysuckle and white pepper. Full body with vivid acidity, medium+ finish ending with toasty smoke notes.
