Beautiful wine. Shows richness and extract with zippy acid that drives the wine. Deeply mineral, almost a core of it. Subtle nose at first due to redux but really blossoms with air. Leesy mid-palate and a kiss of oak add complexity and depth. Orange oil, peach, yellow apple, custard, cheese rind, damp earth, white tea, lees, blossoms. The saline element eluded me, called Savennieres.
