Upon opening was all prunes and plum on the nose, with a bit of cough medicine. Was sweet but alcoholic and had a distinctly tart finish that was disappointing. I left it out overnight and on day 2 it has changed. It’s honey on the nose with slight plum in the background. The taste is sweet, the alcohol sting is gone, and the finish only has the tiniest hint of tart. Much better.
