Beautiful precise chardonnay. Pale straw. The nose has some struck match, peach, and mealy oak. The palate is crisp and precise but also explosive. Lemon curd, vanilla, and a salty mineral undertow. Quite broad fruit with very brisk acidity making the grippy citrus carry on forever. On the sour side rather so best with food, but this will settle further and age beautifully. Glad I have a case!!

Serious wine. Easily Burgundy 1er cru level in terms of size, structure, and complexity. Oak influence is strong on both the nose and palate, but it is perfectly balanced with the fruit, and the steely struck match smokiness. Citrus, stone fruit, mineral, mixed with caramel and brioche notes. Very long and built to last. Impressive and worth every penny of A$66.

Splendid nose but falls apart in the mouth.

Brings a distinctly bold and modern Californian style (though of New Zealand); same stylistic league as Aubert, though two tiers away in terms of purity, precision, and typicity. Still quite a showing and fantastic QPR.

Very floral with notes of gardenia, lavender & citrus needs more time to come around.

Lovely Chardonnay- still young give it a while. Beats many Puligny Montrachet
