Completely crazy good. Nose of tangy berry and Smokey dark fruit after 90 mins. Smooth and layered, charcoal, black fruit and black tea, red clay. So much secondary stuff going on.

At its apogee, and with a 30 minute decant doing its best high-end, aged Côté-Rotie. Refined, masculine, smooth as silk and a killer white floral nose. Drink up.

Celebrating the closure of what started in 2006, so it’s fun to reflect back what has happened over the last 12 years and compare with the life of this cuvée!
I would never have picked this as Australian. Comes off to me as Californian cool climate. Bacony and brambleberry. Quite lithe. Very nice!!

An incredibly nice surprise, would've called it N. Rhone blind. Very French, anti-Oz in its subtlety and structure. Not at all what I expected, may still have a few years to peak.
